Born in London, British Lebanese designer Sarah Bond spent her formative years in Sierra Leone and Lebanon. Sarah continually felt her lifelong creative calling for fashion and couture. Leaving her desk job behind, she earned a foundation degree in Art & Design from Wimbledon School of Art before studying Womenswear Fashion at Ravensbourne College of Design & Communication.
Sarah honed her craft at Katherine Hamnett, Roland Mouret and Savile Row tailor Chris Flourentzou, where she developed a deep respect for sartorial menswear techniques.
Made in Britain, from initial concept to final product, Sarah values the importance of maintaining British workmanship.
Her bespoke ready-to-wear garments perform gender with a style that is at once both familiar and innovative, working sensually yet in powerful harmony with the female form.
Using high quality silks and techno textiles, she draws on her diverse cultural experience to design digital prints from scratch. The clean lines, bold statement pieces, and colour blocking of her modern aesthetic are steeped in the richness of her inimitable tailoring. As a result, Sarah Bond’s collection embodies both exceptional fit and a new form of elegance.
Every product is thoughtfully designed to ensure Timeless Relevance, Exclusivity and encourage Long Term Value through limited runs, with an accompanying Certificate of Authenticity.
At the heart of Sarah’s work lies deep respect for nature and the life it provides us. This informs her timeless philosophy, in the hope that her products will be lovingly taken care of by their owners and passed on to the next generation.
Sarah believes in a well curated lifestyle, where every object purchased is carefully planned ahead to ensure minimal waste and maximum life enrichment.
‘We live in a deeply polarised world where the two camps of HAVEs and HAVE NOTs live dramatically separate lives. Somewhere within lies the contradiction of mindless waste – from overbuying food to household goods to garments.
I would like to encourage my customers to be mindful and see long term value in the products they buy from us. Our planet's resources are very precious. Through our small acts of consideration, we can ensure a better future for us and the next generation.’
