DIARY OF A TRUNK SHOW
Posted on 10 December 2015
As the sun went down on another busy London day, fashionistas and industry professionals turned out for the exclusive Sarah Bond and Joumanna Jewellery trunk show and, of course, the highly anticipated launch of the Sarah Bond's Dancing in the Light Collection, in collaboration with Caudalie Cosmetics and Radisson Blu Hotel in Covent Garden.
Wine was flowing as guests mingled, enjoyed delicious canapés and met with Sarah herself, who was wearing the Lola Navy Dress, discussing the inspirations behind her latest collection. The guests had a special first look at the new must have accessory; our Girl Undressed silk scarf, ahead of the fashion show. The gorgeous Anne-Marie Tomchak, top BBC journalist, was in attendance as well as successful blogger and trail blazing fashionista, Alexandra Miro, who recently collaborated with Sarah Bond.
Celebrity Pilates Instructor Lara Hassan and founder of Spiral Body Studio took a moment to give Sarah a congratulatory hug on her latest collection.

Soon it would be time for the show. The models were ready, having been elegantly coiffed to perfection by hair and makeup artists Matilda Lansdown and Ferdie Santiago of Shu Uemera Cosmetics.
Guests were seated, waiting with excitement for the first official showing of the Sarah Bond SS16 Collection. The eye was drawn to select items being showcased to perfection before the crowd.
The models walked the runway to the likes of Pink Martini, creating an atmosphere of the elegant cocktail hours of by-gone eras.
Their pace was slow and controlled to give the audience plenty of time to drink in the details, harking back to the days of Chanel, Poiret and Dior.
After the models had walked the runway, everyone was treated to intimate access to the new collection.
The guests were inspired by the architectural influences of the new collection, expressing admiration for the strong lines and clean, streamlined silhouettes that are fast becoming Sarah Bond’s signature.
Fashion Blogger Alexandra Miro admires the new collection as guests disappeared behind elegant Japanese Shoji screens to try on and purchase pieces they had seen on the runway. The Bo Bardi neoprene coat was the shining light of the collection with guests queuing up to try it on.
Many came away with a new, fantastic addition to their wardrobe having utilised an exclusive offer of 20% off the new collection.
The evening came to a close with a final glass of wine before guests headed home with their exclusive gift bags filled with goodies and Sarah Bond’s latest Look Book - their heads full of inspiration.
